Denis turns C1 defeat to his advantage
Denis failed to reach the single canoe (C1) final of the 2010 Oceania Cup but he finds comfort in defeat.
Fabien strains rib, out for two weeks
Fabien’s injury at the 2010 Oceania Cup was a subluxation – in layman’s terms the partial dislocation of a joint. In Fabien’s case, the joint was at the end of a rib. The injury is not as serious as it sounds… but Fabien will nonetheless have to endure two weeks of enforced holiday! He takes up the story:
Fabien suffers a setback
The weekend started well for Denis and Fabien at the 2010 Oceania Slalom Open. Things began to go wrong on the Sunday (February 21) as Fabien paddled in the single kayak (K1) semi-final. Denis tells us why.
Fabien’s new approach to training
Fabien and Denis have less than three weeks to run at their winter training camp in Sydney. Coach Jean-Yves Cheutin has been with them since the end of January… and occasionally comes up with a workout that really tests their limits.
Fabien’s new K1 paddle takes shape
RC Equipements and Fabien are developing a new version of the Twister, the single kayak (K1) paddle that Fabien has been using for the past year and a half. Its revolutionary form will be based on the blade of the paddle Fabien uses in double canoe (C2).
