World Cup: 4th in C2 in Spain
Fabien and Denis finish 4th in C2 at the Seu d’Urgell World Cup, missing the podium and automatic selection for the world championships by a whisker. They remain the leading French boat but selection depends on their performances in the final World Cup of the season in Germany next weekend. In Fabien’s solo event, things look more complicated.
World Cup: Through to Semis in Spain
All three boats are through to the semi-finals of the Seu d’Urgell World Cup. Denis is quietly confident despite spending longer on the water than he’d originally planned in order to improve on his performance in the first qualifying run.

World Championship slalom selection
Selection for the French squad in the 2010 World Championships will now depend solely on the results of the two World Cup legs. The French federation opted for this solution following the cancellation of the final stages of the Europeans, in which a podium place would have guaranteed selection.
