Denis looks ahead to the 2011 World Championships in Bratislava where he will be competing for both a world title and the one single canoe (C1) slot in the French team at next year’s London Olympics.
Denis savours his best year yet
Just 23, Denis enjoys the best season of his short career with five trail-blazing medals in two boats, including a team gold and a silver in double canoe with Fabien at the world championships and a European U23 single canoe (C1) title. For Denis, as many as 20 paddlers have what it takes to become world single canoe (C1) slalom champion this year in Tacen. With the European U23 title under his belt, he feels he has nothing to prove. With the pressure off, he’s looking for a good result.
